Fujian's automobile exports exceeded 10 billion yuan from January to July 2025

According to Xiamen Customs, from January to July, Fujian exported a total of 11.24 billion yuan worth of various vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 50.5%, setting a record high for the same period. Of this total, exports in July totaled 1.84 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 65.9%, maintaining positive growth for five consecutive months.

In terms of product structure, commercial vehicles and passenger cars are the two main types of "Made in Fujian" vehicle exports. From January to July, Fujian exported 5.89 billion yuan worth of commercial vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 65.1%, accounting for 52.4% of Fujian's total vehicle exports during the same period. Among these, passenger cars accounted for 4.24 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 69.5%. During the same period, Fujian exported 5.35 billion yuan worth of passenger cars, a year-on-year increase of 37.2%, accounting for 47.6% of the total. Notably, "Made in Fujian" electric vehicles achieved strong export results, with exports totaling 4.82 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 59.9%.

Private enterprises are the main force in the export of "Made in Fujian" vehicles. From January to July, private enterprises in Fujian exported 5.96 billion yuan worth of automobiles, a 100% year-on-year increase, accounting for over 50% of Fujian's total automobile exports during the same period. During the same period, Fujian state-owned enterprises exported 3.95 billion yuan worth of automobiles, a 30.3% year-on-year increase, accounting for 35.2% of the total.

To support the expansion of automobile exports and achieve new growth, Xiamen Customs promptly informed enterprises of relevant access requirements of importing countries (regions), explained preferential tariff policies, and provided guidance throughout the entire process, from R&D to parts import, manufacturing, and finished product export. Furthermore, the customs office has established a fast-track channel for automobile exports, implementing facilitation measures such as advance declaration and direct loading upon arrival, to ensure smooth export of automobiles.
